Job description

Responsibilities

• Help design, build and continuously improve the client’s online platform.
• Research, suggest and implement new technology solutions following best practices/standards.
• Take responsibility for the resiliency and availability of different products.
• Be a productive member of the team.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of consulting experience delivering technical and advisory services in senior roles.
• At least 5 years of experience in upgrades/migrations, code optimization/remediation, SAP Fiori, HANA or S/4HANA development, and working with SAP systems such as ECC, BW, CRM, SCM, PI, SRM, and Solution Manager.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with SAP technologies (SAP HANA, SAP Business Suite, BW, SAP NetWeaver, SAP S/4HANA) in designing, developing, and deploying ABAP programs.
• Design scalable, high‑performance, and reusable technical solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Develop technical specifications, perform coding, conduct unit testing, and prepare documentation.
• Create custom reports and perform proof‑of‑concept or prototyping activities as needed.
• Finalize technical designs, resolve defects, and support collaborative development tasks.
• Participate actively in root‑cause analysis and troubleshooting of complex issues.
• Share technical knowledge within the development team through regular knowledge‑sharing sessions.
• Provide knowledge transfer to Production Support teams post–go‑live.
• Support urgent production issues by offering timely technical expertise.
• Work with SAP and non‑SAP systems for integrations, performance testing, and endto‑end solution coordination across multiple teams.
• Develop high‑level architecture and solution designs based on business requirements.
• Lead ABAP deliverables, including code fixes, remediation, HANA compliance, reprogramming, and performance tuning for migrations and upgrades.
• Execute data mapping, cleansing, conversion, and data aging setup activities.
• Work closely with onsite and offshore teams across Functional, ABAP, Basis, and Security areas during design and implementation phases.
• Coordinate with SAP via Service Marketplace to report product gaps and issues.
• Collaborate with project teams to resolve SAP ABAP‑related issues efficiently.
• Identify performance bottlenecks proactively and propose scalable technical solutions.
• Stay up to date with new SAP technologies and implement improvements as needed.
• Develop new ABAP programs and contribute to ongoing SAP initiatives.
• Strong experience in core SAP development as well as native SAP HANA development.
• Deep product knowledge of SAP HANA encompassing ABAP on HANA, native HANA development, and general software engineering practices.
• Experience in SAPUI5, Fiori, ABAP on HANA, and OData services is a strong plus.
