Job summary

Artmac Soft LLC in Bengaluru, Karnataka, seeks a Senior SAP ABAP Consultant for part-time/contract work. You will design, develop, test, and maintain SAP ABAP programs and RICEF objects, including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflows.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of hands-on ABAP experience, strong OO ABAP, and deep knowledge of S/4HANA, CDS views, AMDP, OData, REST services, and SAP UI5.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of SAP ABAP development experience.
• Strong ABAP Objects knowledge.
• RICEF development experience.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA, APIs & Web Services.
• Experience with OData & REST integrations.
• Hands-on with CDS Views & AMDP.
• Reports/Interfaces/BAPI/RFC/IDoc/ALE/User Exits/Enhancements experience.
• Strong DDIC knowledge and SQL performance tuning.
• Fiori/UI5 & Gateway development familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain SAP ABAP programs and technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows (RICEF).
• Analyze business and functional requirements and translate into technical specs.
• Develop custom ABAP programs using ABAP Objects (OO ABAP).
• Work on User Exits, Customer Exits, BAdIs, Enhancement Framework, and enhancements.
• Develop and support integrations using RFC, BAPI, IDoc, ALE, Proxy, and Web Services.
• Develop and maintain SAP Smart Forms, Adobe Forms, SAPscript.
• Work with ALV Reports, Classical/Interactive Reports, and background jobs.
• Develop and consume OData services for SAP applications and integrations.
• Work with CDS Views, AMDP, and SAP S/4HANA modern ABAP development.
• Perform ABAP code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Analyze and resolve production issues and performance problems.
• ABAP performance tuning using ST05, SAT/SE30, SQL Monitor, and ATC/Code Inspector.
• Collaborate with FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, WM/EWM, and other modules.
• Prepare technical specs, development docs, test cases, and deployment docs.
• Support unit testing, integration testing, UAT, and production deployments.
