Job summary

Verifone is seeking a Senior Salesforce developer to build solutions that help users transform their business. You will collaborate with business partners, technical teams, vendors and stakeholders to deliver quality Salesforce-based solutions.

You will engage with Global Sales, Marketing & Service to understand processes, support production issues, and drive best practice design focused on security, performance and reusable patterns.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of IT or consulting experience.
• 3+ years delivering Salesforce.com enterprise applications in a developer role.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce core product suite and CRM processes in sales, marketing & service.
• Hands-on knowledge of Salesforce architecture, data & security, integration, configuration and customization (Apex, Lightning, JS, UI).
• Hands-on Salesforce integrations (API and ETL tools); Informatica Cloud is a plus.
• Web development proficiency: CSS, JavaScript, HTML5, AJAX, jQuery.
• Knowledge of Oracle DB SQL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions and prototypes based on requirements; collaborate with delivery teams on design and development.
• Contribute to functional and technical design activities and create design documents.
• Engage with Global Sales, Marketing & Service to understand processes and requirements.
• Support and resolve key implementation and production issues.

About the role

As a Senior Salesforce developer, you will be building solutions that directly help users transform their business. You will liaison with business partners, technical resources, external vendors and project stakeholders to build quality solutions on the Salesforce platform.

What you’ll do:

• Develop solutions and prototypes based on requirements. Independently collaborate with delivery teams on design and development.
• Contribute in functional and technical solution design activities, creation of application and integration design documents that use Salesforce.com standard methodologies.
• Engage with Global Sales, Marketing & Service organizations to understand business processes & system requirements.
• Support and solve key implementation & production issues and demonstrate ability to drive successful resolution.
• Drive Salesforce.com design & development decisions to implement best practices standards - Security, Performance, Reusable Design and Development
• Manage the salesforce change/release management processes

What qualifications will you need to be successful?

• 4-7 years of Industry experience in IT or consulting organizations
• 3+ years of experience defining and delivering Salesforce.com enterprise applications in developer role
• Excellent overall understanding of the Salesforce core product suite combined with deep understanding of CRM business processes in sales, marketing & customer service.
• Hands on development knowledge of relevant Salesforce architecture concepts, data & security structures, enterprise integration, as well as configuration and customization options (including Apex, Lightning, Custom UI, JS, Integration, API etc.)
• Hands on development knowledge of SF integrations (API and ETL tools based). Informatica Cloud is a plus
• Web development experience including CSS, JavaScript, HTML5, AJAX, jQuery
• Knowledge of Oracle DB SQL is a plus

• Excellent written and verbal skills, to effectively communicate with variety of audience in business & technical teams
• Strong presentation skills to successfully present and defend point of view to Business & IT audiences
• Excellent analysis skills and ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies
