Role & responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies for fuel additives used in internal combustion engines to provide customised solutions targeted at infrastructure, automotive fleet owners and mining companies.
- Cultivate and manage key accounts, ensuring long-term partnerships and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and hands-on support tailored to complex client environments.
- Identify new business opportunities within the assigned territory and drive end-to-end sales funnel management.
- Collaborate closely with the technical and product teams to ensure customer requirements are incorporated into offerings.
- Negotiate and close contracts, ensuring commercial objectives and profitability are achieved.
- Provide technical training and after-sales support to customers as required.
- Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory requirements.
Preferred candidate profile
- 10 to 12 years of experience in sales or business development roles, specifically in industries using internal combustion engine products/systems.
- Demonstrable success working with large infrastructure and mining companies, preferably handling industrial equipment or B2B technical solutions.
- Strong technical knowledge of internal combustion engines (both diesel and petrol, stationary and mobile applications), emission norms, maintenance practices, and troubleshooting.
- Solid negotiation, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Willingness to travel frequently within assigned North zone as needed.
