Sutherland in Bengaluru, India, is seeking a Senior SaaS (SME) with 8–10 years of identity and access management expertise focused on Okta. You will architect complex identity workflows, integrate Okta with AD/LDAP and other providers, and lead governance and automation efforts to ensure strong IAM controls and compliance.

You will design SSO and provisioning connectors, implement advanced policy frameworks, and build automation tools using PowerShell and Python.

Formación

• 5+ years of deep hands-on IAM experience with Okta
• Okta Certified Consultant or Developer is a plus
• Strong scripting and API integration skills (Okta APIs, PowerShell, Python, Postman)
• Experience with AD/LDAP integrations and external identity providers
• Knowledge of SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect and WS-Federation

Responsabilidades

Job Description

• Architect and implement complex identity workflows within Okta, including SCIM provisioning, Just-In-Time (JIT) provisioning, and Okta Workflows.
• Manage advanced Okta integrations with Active Directory (AD), LDAP, and other external identity providers.
• Develop and enforce identity governance policies, lifecycle automation, and entitlement management across applications.
• Drive the onboarding and integration of enterprise and cloud applications into Okta with robust SSO and provisioning connectors.
• Perform in-depth assessments and hardening of the User Access Review (UAR) process, roles, permissions, and policies within Okta.
• Create custom rules and logic for adaptive MFA, device trust policies, and conditional access controls.
• Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to ensure compliance with IAM controls, audit trails, and logging standards.
• Monitor system performance and reliability; troubleshoot and resolve complex IAM issues and outages related to Okta.
• Lead the creation of automation scripts and tools (using PowerShell, Python, Okta APIs) to support provisioning, reporting, and configuration.
• Build and maintain dashboards and metrics to track identity system performance, policy violations, and user activity.
• Provide strategic input on Okta platform architecture and future roadmap alignment with business objectives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of deep, hands-on experience in Identity and Access Management, including 3+ years specifically with Okta.
• Expert-level knowledge of Okta platform services, including:
• Okta Identity Governance (IGA)
• Okta Workflows
• Universal Directory
• SCIM & JIT provisioning
• Advanced SSO configurations
• Strong proficiency in scripting and API integrations (Okta APIs, PowerShell, Python, Postman).
• In-depth understanding of identity protocols: SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, WS-Federation.
• Experience integrating Okta with AD, Azure AD, LDAP, SaaS applications, and custom-built applications.
• Solid background in information security, IAM compliance, and regulatory standards (e.g., SOX, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
• Ability to work independently on complex issues and communicate technical concepts clearly.
  
• Okta Certified Consultant / Okta Certified Developer
• Experience working in highly regulated industries (e.g., Finance, Healthcare, Government)
• Familiarity with Zero Trust frameworks and identity governance platforms like SailPoint or Saviynt
• Experience with CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines for identity infrastructure as code
