Job summary

Deutsche Bank AG in Bangalore, India seeks a Vice President – Senior Risk Manager to lead model and AI governance and risk management initiatives. You will drive governance, attestations, and reporting for senior stakeholders, while coordinating with regulators and internal audit.

Ideal candidates will have deep regulatory knowledge, strong stakeholder management, and a track record of transformational initiatives in financial services.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in Model Governance, AI Governance, and Model Risk Management within complex, regulated environments.
• Deep understanding of regulatory expectations, supervisory guidance, and industry-leading practices.
• Extensive experience in developing and maintaining policies, governance frameworks, and MIS reporting for executives.
• Outstanding stakeholder management and ability to collaborate across functions, geographies and levels.
• Strategic advisor with a track record of leading transformational initiatives and fostering adoption of new processes.
• Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and ethical use of data and outputs.

Responsibilities

• Identify and classify models and AI use cases across business processes with risk ratings.
• Enhance model risk appetite and governance framework definitions.
• Develop and implement AI risk appetite and governance frameworks.
• Coordinate model/AI inventory maintenance and attestations; manage governance forums.
• Engage regulators and auditors on model and AI risk topics; report to governance committees.
• Partner with technology and business to design AI inventory and governance workflows.
• Collaborate with Model Validation teams to set validation priorities and remediation progress.
• Oversee model approval processes and lifecycle governance prior to deployment.
