Job summary

NXP Semiconductors is seeking an RFIC Validation Engineer in Pune district to validate RF block KPIs for Connectivity products. The role requires hands-on lab work with spectrum analyzers, VNAs, and oscilloscopes, plus test automation to analyze results for IP teams.

The candidate will collaborate with Design & Architecture teams to debug issues, drive tape-out readiness, and establish robust validation plans and sign-off criteria. 3–5 years in semiconductor validation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering (or related).
• 3-5 years of experience in semiconductor validation (RF/System), product engineering, or silicon debug.
• Strong hands-on background in lab equipment like Spectrum analyzer, VNA, Oscilloscope, RF signal generator.

• Validate KPI metrics for RF blocks in Connectivity products.
• Lead test automation and analyzes results for IP design teams.
• Collaborate with IP design teams to debug issues and drive validation readiness for tape-out, risk production, and mass production.

Role Summary

The RFIC Validation Engineer is responsible for comprehensive validation of key product indicators (KPI's) as defined in the system compliance matrix for RF blocks in Connectivity products. Candidate should have experience in measuring and validating RF Block level parameters of transceiver blocks and needs to understand how RF block parameters effect system KPIs. Candidate should have experience in test automations and needs to analyze & summarize the test results to IP design team and needs to collaboratively work with IP design team to debug issues if any. Oversee validation of: Transceiver Blocks– PA, PPA, Mixer, LNA, ADC etc. Drive ATE and bench correlation as needed. Ensure robust test plans, coverage models, and sign-off criteria. Own validation readiness for tape-out, risk production, and mass production. Set clear goals, KPIs, and execution frameworks for validation programs. Partner closely with Design & Architecture teams Provide regular program updates to senior leadership.

Job Qualification

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering (or related).

3-5 years of experience in semiconductor validation (RF/System), product engineering, or silicon debug.

Strong hands-on background in:

• Lab equipment like Spectrum analyzer, VNA, Oscilloscope, RF signal generator etc.
• Lab bring-up and silicon debug tools (JTAG, logic analyzers, scopes, etc.)

Excellent communication and executive presence.
