Job summary

Ericsson in Germany is seeking an RF Developer to drive radiator and antenna front‑end design for mobile base station antennas, from concept to production.

You will design, simulate, verify radiating components, perform RF measurements on prototypes, and collaborate with international teams to optimize performance, integration, and cost. The role requires relocation to Rosenheim.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with strong RF background.
• Proven experience in RF and antenna design.
• Solid understanding of radiating component development and integration.
• Experience with 3D EM tools CST Microwave Studio, Ansys HFSS.
• Experience with 2D tools AWR Microwave Office, Keysight ADS.
• Basic knowledge of RF and antenna measurement techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Highly motivated with a structured and self-driven work style.
• Excellent teamwork and communication in an international environment.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

We’re looking for a passionate RF Developer to drive innovation in radiator and antenna front-end design within our product development organization. As an RF Developer, you will focus on developing radiating elements and passive radiation pattern-shaping structures for our mobile communication base station antennas. You’ll be involved in the entire development cycle—from concept to integration—working with state-of-the-art simulation tools and collaborating in cross-functional, international teams where innovation and continuous improvement are part of everyday life.

What you bring:

Nice to Have:

• Experience with RF filter design or frequency selective surfaces (FSS)
