Job summary

Ericsson in India is seeking an RF Developer to drive radiator and antenna front-end design for mobile base station antennas, working with advanced simulation tools and international teams.

You will design, simulate, verify, and optimize radiating components, contribute from concept to mass production, and support RF measurements.

Relocation to Rosenheim, Germany is required; candidates must have strong RF background and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with strong RF background.
• Proven experience in RF and antenna design.
• Expertise in 3D EM simulation tools CST/HFSS.
• Experience with 2D tools like AWR/Keysight ADS.
• Strong analytical, teamwork and English communication.

As an RF Developer, you will focus on developing radiating elements and passive radiation pattern-shaping structures for our mobile communication base station antennas. You’ll be involved in the entire development cycle—from concept to integration—working with state-of-the-art simulation tools and collaborating in cross-functional, international teams where innovation and continuous improvement are part of everyday life.

What you bring:

• Bachelor's with relevant experience, or a Master’s/University degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with a strong RF background
• Proven experience in RF and antenna design
• Solid understanding of radiating component development and integration
• Expertise in 3D EM simulation tools (e.g., CST Microwave Studio, Ansys HFSS)
• Experience with 2D simulation tools (e.g., AWR Microwave Office, Keysight ADS)
• Basic knowledge of RF and antenna measurement techniques
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Highly motivated, with a structured and self-driven work style
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills in an international environment
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken

Nice to Have:

• Experience with RF filter design or frequency selective surfaces (FSS)
• Familiarity with machine learning and optimization algorithms
• Knowledge of MATLAB, Python
• Understanding of PIM/EMC design and measurements
• German language skills are a plus

The role requires relocation to Rosenheim, Germany.
