Job summary

Responsibilities include pre- and post-operative care, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining thorough medical records.

Qualifications

• MS in General Surgery from a recognized medical institution.
• Valid registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or respective State Medical Council.
• 0-3 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting. Exposure to surgical oncology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients with surgical and oncological conditions and assist in developing treatment plans.
• Assist senior consultants in performing oncological and general surgical procedures.
• Conduct pre-operative assessments and post-operative patient management.
• Monitor patients' clinical progress, recovery, and post-surgical complications.
• Participate in ward rounds, OPD consultations, and inpatient care.
• Coordinate with medical oncology, radiation oncology, anaesthesia, pathology, and other multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate patient records, clinical documentation, and discharge summaries.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety, and hospital quality standards.
• Participate in clinical discussions, case presentations, and departmental academic activities.
