Marsh in Pune is seeking a Senior Specialist - Research to join the Risk, Reinsurance and Capital team. The role is hybrid, requiring residence or commuting to Pune and at least three days per week in the office.

You will support senior leadership and project teams with day‑to‑day tasks, prepare background research and analyses for advisory engagements, and produce client‑ready materials. Strong Excel and AI experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's in Economics or MBA/related field.
• 4–6 years of strategy advisory/research experience in a leading professional services firm.
• Experience in consulting projects and independent secondary research; strong Excel; AI experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist senior leadership and project teams with day‑to‑day tasks to help set and deliver team priorities and initiatives under close guidance.
• Support advisory engagements by preparing background research, data collection, and draft analyses for specialty insurance areas.
• Contribute to the delivery of high‑impact projects by producing clear data summaries, slide material, and basic quantitative inputs (spreadsheets, simple models, charts), and by helping to quality‑check outputs.
• Help incubate research and analytics efforts: gather datasets, run preliminary analyses, maintain benchmarking spreadsheets and contribute ideas for innovation and new capability.
• Support project management tasks such as tracking timelines, preparing progress updates, coordinating meeting notes and follow‑ups to ensure timely delivery and quality.
• Build and maintain stakeholder communications by preparing client‑ready materials, drafting emails, and responding to routine client queries under supervision.

Senior Specialist - Research Company: Marsh

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Research team, part of our risk, reinsurance and capital business at Marsh. This role will be based in Pune. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:

What you need to have:

• Masters / Bachelors in Economics or Masters in Business Administration (MBA) / sustainability, corporate responsibility, or finance, environmental science, business administration, sustainability, economics, or related field.
• 4 to 6 years of experience in strategy advisory, research (quantitative and qualitative | secondary) experience, at a leading professional services / consulting firm / market intelligence / research firm.
• Experience in consulting projects and conducting independent secondary research.
• Strong hands‑on experience in using Generative AI as part of day to day task effectively.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, confident with Excel; basic exposure to modelling or analytics tools is desirable.
