Job summary

Guidehouse India Pvt Ltd is recruiting for a Competitive Intelligence professional to execute end-to-end market research and deliver executive-ready outputs. The role focuses on open-source research, client profiling, and RFP-related insights.

The candidate will support senior leadership and business development with strategic analysis, dashboards, and concise briefings, while mentoring junior analysts and promoting process improvements.

Qualifications

• Graduate or post-graduate degree in a relevant discipline.
• 3–4 years of experience in competitive intelligence, market research, consulting research, strategy support, or a related analytical role.
• Experience supporting senior leadership, sales, business development, proposal, or pursuit teams.
• Demonstrated expertise in secondary research methodologies using open-source and publicly available data.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proven ability to apply analytical judgment, maintain attention to detail, and deliver under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end competitive intelligence and market research assignments.

• Develop executive-ready deliverables, including summaries, briefing materials, presentations, tables, and dashboards.
• Support business development, proposal, and pricing teams through competitor analysis, RFP research, and client profiling.
• Monitor and analyze competitive and market activity, including contract awards, leadership changes, mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, and geographic expansion.
• Research government programs, funding mechanisms, regulatory developments, and industry trends.
• Synthesize complex data into clear, concise, and actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
• Manage multiple concurrent requests while maintaining accuracy, quality, and timeliness.
• Contribute to research process improvement, standardization, and knowledge management initiatives.
• Leverage automation and AI-enabled research tools to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and incorporate feedback into refined deliverables.
• Provide informal guidance and quality review support to junior analysts, as required.
