Job summary

Quixta is seeking a Senior React Native Developer to lead mobile development from architecture through App Store/Play Store releases. You will mentor a junior developer and collaborate with backend and design teams to deliver polished mobile experiences.

You will own release cycles, optimize performance, and leverage Expo/EAS, REST/GraphQL, and pushing state management. Remote-friendly role with strong communication expectations.

You'll lead our mobile app from architecture through to App Store and Play Store releases, and you'll mentor a Junior React Native Developer. You'll work closely with the Backend team on APIs and integrations, so clear communication across teams is essential.#### **Responsibilities*** Own the architecture, code quality and technical direction of our React Native (Expo) apps.* Build and maintain high-quality, performant features for iOS and Android.* Manage the full release cycle: builds, signing, versioning, OTA updates, store submissions, and handling review feedback.* Work with the Backend team to define API contracts, data needs and integration approaches.* Mentor the Junior React Native Developer through code reviews, pairing and guidance along with the TPM.* Work with Design to turn designs into polished mobile experiences.* Take part in the senior on-call rotation, including international paging.#### **What We're Looking For*** 6+ years of mobile development, with 3+ years of hands-on React Native work.* Strong TypeScript/JavaScript and solid knowledge of React.* Proven experience shipping and maintaining apps on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.* Experience with Expo and EAS (Expo Application Services), native modules, push notifications, deep linking, and performance tuning.* Solid understanding of REST/GraphQL APIs, authentication and state management.* Experience leading or mentoring other developers.* Excellent communication skills. You should be able to discuss requirements and trade-offs clearly with backend, web and design teams.* Experience working with AI tools for development, and a willingness to integrate AI into the SDLC.**Note:** Full-stack experience is a strong plus but not mandatory.
