Job summary

Hitachi Energy Technology Services Private Limited in Bengaluru, India is seeking a seasoned Full‑Stack Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise-scale applications for complex financial calculations and real-time data processing.

You will work with C#, .NET, PHP, JavaScript, HTML/CSS and modern frameworks (Angular/React), building frontend interfaces, backend services, APIs, and SQL Server data interactions while following coding standards and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

Role Overview

We are looking for a full-stack developer to join our Energy / Commodity Trade and Risk Management solution team. In this role, you will design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise-scale applications used for complex financial calculations, real-time market data processing, and structured trading workflows.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Design, develop, and enhance features for enterprise business applications.
• Build clean, maintainable, and efficient code following established engineering standards.
• Develop and support frontend interfaces, backend services, APIs, and database components.
• Work with Microsoft SQL Server to ensure data integrity, reliable access, and performance.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and continuous improvement activities.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA, DevOps, and product stakeholders to deliver reliable features.
• Analyze and resolve issues across environments, including production support when required.
• Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and compliance with applicable internal and external procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent, with 7+ years of relevant software development experience.
• Hands-on experience with C#, .NET, PHP, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs, web services, third- party integrations, and business logic for enterprise applications.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including queries, joins, indexing, performance considerations, and data integrity.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming, design principles, application architecture, and structured workflows.
• Mandatory experience with Git-based version control and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to unit testing frameworks such as xUnit or PHPUnit.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, communication, and ownership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
