You will handle BOQs, cost estimates, and vendor invoice audits as part of a precision-driven team. Experience with AutoCAD drawings and advanced Excel/Sheets is essential, with site visits to validate measurements and support procurement budgets.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a QS role for premium interior projects.
• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or QS/Construction Mgmt degree.
• Strong knowledge of interior materials and cost calculations.
• Proficient with reading 2D AutoCAD layouts and drawings.
• Advanced Excel/Sheets skills for data modeling and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed Bills of Quantities from design to execution.
• Perform material take-offs and cost calculations for carpentry, finishes, and fittings.
• Take as-built site measurements to verify dimensions before procurement budgets.
• Document, evaluate, and track Variations/Change Orders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Audit vendor invoices to ensure alignment with agreed rates.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced, meticulous, and error-free Quantity Surveyor (QS) who has a deep understanding of interior products, material calculations, and commercial rate-building. If you have zero tolerance for mathematical oversight and love creating bulletproof project budgets, we want you on our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Error-Free BOQs: Develop highly detailed, micro-level Bills of Quantities (BOQs) from design conceptualization to final execution stages.
• Precision Estimations: Perform accurate material take-offs and cost calculations for custom carpentry, modular woodwork, false ceilings, and finishes.
• Site Verification: Conduct physical as-built site measurements to validate drawing dimensions against actual spaces before finalizing procurement budgets.
• Variation & Change Orders: Critically document, evaluate, and track Variation Orders (VOs) throughout the project lifecycle to ensure seamless final billing.
• Vendor Auditing: Verify, negotiate, and audit incoming vendor and contractor invoices to ensure zero billing deviations from agreed trade rates.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech) or a specialized Diploma / Degree in Quantity Surveying / Construction Management.
• Material Mastery: Strong, practical knowledge of current market rates and calculations for interior materials (commercial plywood, laminates, hardware, veneers, stones, and paint).
• Drawing Literacy: Proficient in reading and interpreting complex 2D AutoCAD layouts, elevations, and structural joinery details.
• Software Skills: Advanced mastery of Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets for complex data formatting and mathematical modeling.
• Attributes: Exceptional analytical skills, sharp commercial acumen, and high accountability for financial accuracy.
