Job summary

Turner & Townsend in India is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer with 7+ years of experience to lead quality assurance and control initiatives across projects. You will develop, implement, and maintain quality systems, ensuring compliance with standards and driving continuous improvement.

Collaborating with manufacturing and engineering teams, you will analyze metrics, perform CAPA, lead audits, mentor junior staff, and support supplier quality activities to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, manufacturing or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in QA, QC, or quality engineering.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems and QC methodologies.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, EPC, automotive, construction or related industries.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and quality improvement techniques.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC processes and procedures.
• Monitor product and process quality to ensure compliance with standards and customer requirements.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement CAPA for quality issues.
• Lead internal quality audits and support external/customer audits.
• Analyze quality metrics and report to management.
• Review inspection reports and quality documentation for accuracy.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, procurement, and operations to improve quality.
• Investigate non-conformities and ensure timely resolution.
• Support supplier quality management including supplier audits.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements and policies.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean/Six Sigma/Kaizen or similar methodologies.
• Mentor junior quality engineers and inspectors.
