Job summary

Egis is seeking a seasoned quality control professional for construction projects in India. The candidate should have graduation in engineering and around 15 years of QA/QC experience across highways, water/wastewater, bridges, and industrial sites.

The role involves ensuring quality at site, coordinating with multiple teams, and validating materials per standards. The position emphasizes adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and safety norms, with responsibilities extending to QA

Qualifications

• 15 years of experience in quality control of construction projects such as highways, water/wastewater, bridges, and industrial areas.
• Graduation in Engineering in relevant field.
• Experience overseeing QA/QC on large infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve construction schedules, method statements, and resource plans submitted by Contractor.
• Coordinate with planning, design, procurement, and environmental teams for construction readiness.
• Monitor execution to ensure works follow approved drawings, specifications, and contract provisions.
• Validate contractor adherence to quality standards, approved techniques, and safety norms.
• Implement and monitor the Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) at site.
• Approve or reject construction materials based on test results and quality checks.
• Highlight delays and bottlenecks, suggesting corrective measures to maintain timelines.
• Assist in preparation of monthly progress reports, site photos, and dashboards.
• Attend meetings with client, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Conduct inspections and witness testing of materials to ensure adherence to codes.
