Job summary

HTC Global Services in Pune, India is seeking a seasoned QA professional to join our team. You will design and execute test plans, validate large data sets with SQL, and work in an Agile environment using Jira/ALM.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience in QA process and methodologies.
• Design, plan and execute test cases, scenarios and scripts for functional validation and regression testing.
• Verify and validate large data sets with data accuracy, completeness and consistency using SQL queries, Unix command, other available tools.
• Create, maintain test cases, scripts, and documentation in test management tools (Jira, HP ALM, etc.).
• Working with customers for Requirement analysis, build data migration Strategy, and Write Scripts as per project requirements.
• Accountable for test artifacts and QA documentation(s).
• Well versed with Agile methodologies and exposure on Jira, quality control, etc.
• Validation and verification of different types of file load.
• Proactively monitor the performance of data jobs and tune the jobs as needed.
• Good to have exposure on UI Automation.
• Must have experience in Financial Assets like Equities, Derivatives and Trading/ Accounting Applications like Murex, CRDG, BBAGAIM, etc.
• Must have exposure Eagle.
• Good to have exposure on Automation (UI/Data level).
• Able to use AI in testing process to optimize it.
• A minimum of 5 years of strong experience on QA process and methodology. Should be willing to work individually on task assigned.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience on large scale data solution on Snowflake Data Warehouse or similar data warehouse.
• Proactively generates relevant ideas for new and improved use of technology.
• Approaches tasks systematically and independently adapt work activities and behaviors to support changes in requirements from stakeholders.
• Identify new technologies and trends which offer alternative innovative solutions.
• Understands and applies the principles of project management and applies methodologies, tools and processes to manage own assignments or simple projects.
• Evaluates quality metrics and processes against enterprise standards and proposes remedial action.
• Good troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must be detail oriented and extremely organized and can manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
