Job summary

IntraEdge, Inc. in Chennai is seeking a QA Automation Engineer with 5+ years of experience to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks ensuring high-quality software releases in a hybrid work setup.

You will work with Selenium WebDriver, Java, API testing, SQL, and CI tools (Jenkins, Maven). The role requires Agile/Scrum, JIRA, and strong automation skills; immediate joiner is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Software Testing and QA Automation.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java.
• Experience with API testing using Postman or Rest Assured.
• Knowledge of TestNG, Maven, and automation frameworks.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Experience with defect tracking tools like JIRA.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and Java.
• Create and maintain automation frameworks following best practices.
• Perform database testing and validate data using SQL queries.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with developers for resolution.
• Develop and maintain test cases, test plans, and test reports.
• Perform API testing and validation of backend services.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure quality standards are met before production releases.
