Citigroup Inc. is seeking an IT Quality Sr Analyst to lead Quality Engineering for OTC Derivatives Confirmations. The role combines hands-on testing, test automation, and AI-enabled approaches to deliver stable, scalable, and business-ready solutions.

As AVP – Quality Engineering Lead, you will partner with business and technology stakeholders to improve production stability, engineering efficiency, and release readiness across platforms, leveraging modern architectures and cloud practices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering experience.
• OTC Derivatives platforms and Capital Markets
• Hands-on experience - API testing, SWIFT Message Test and modern application architectures.
• BDD frameworks (Cucumber), Non Functional Test (NFT), Integration, End-to-End Test, Performance, resilience, and security testing.
• Demonstrates strong expertise in test bed creation and effective troubleshooting of environment-related issues.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end quality outcomes across OTC Derivatives Confirmations platforms.
• Leverage AI-enabled testing to improve coverage, productivity, and quality insights.
• Support production issue triage, post-release validation, and preventative controls.
• Improve quality, reduce defects, and increase release confidence through continuous improvement.

IT Quality Sr Analyst - C12 - OTC Derivatives Confirmations

Role Overview: The Assistant Vice President – Quality Engineering Lead will drive end-to-end quality outcomes across OTC Derivatives Confirmations platforms. This role combines OTC derivatives expertise, quality engineering leadership, test automation, and AI-enabled testing practices to deliver stable, scalable, and business-ready solutions. The individual will partner with business and technology stakeholders to improve quality, production stability, and engineering efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering experience.
• OTC Derivatives platforms and Capital Markets
• Hands-on experience - API testing, SWIFT Message Test and modern application architectures.
• BDD frameworks (Cucumber), Non Functional Test (NFT), Integration, End-to-End Test, Performance, resilience, and security testing.
• Demonstrates strong expertise in test bed creation and effective troubleshooting of environment-related issues.

AI Augmented Quality Engineering

• Leverage Generative for test design, test data generation, impact analysis, and defect triage.
• Adoption of AI-assisted testing solutions to improve coverage, productivity, and quality insights.
• Utilize AI-driven analytics to identify quality risks, release readiness indicators, and defect patterns.

Production Stability & Continuous Improvement

• Support production issue triage and post-release validation activities.
• Analyze production defects and implement preventative controls.
• Drive initiatives to improve quality, reduce defects, and increase release confidence.

Modern Architecture & Cloud:

Microservices testing and validation

Engineering Fundamentals:

SQL and data validation, Unix/Linux ,CI/CD pipelines, Jira, Zephyr, or equivalent quality management tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Financial markets certifications (NCFM or equivalent).
