Job summary

Coursefinder.ai is seeking a hands-on QA professional to own product quality end to end across web and core workflows. You will plan and run testing with engineering and product, decide what's ready to ship, and set the quality bar the team builds toward.

In this role you will verify features across major browsers and devices, run daily release testing, test AI-powered features for output quality, and log precise repro steps to help engineers diagnose issues quickly.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of hands-on QA experience in SaaS or consumer apps.
• Experience testing AI/ML features and model behavior.
• Sharp eye for edge cases beyond a spec.
• Familiarity with API testing using Postman or similar.
• Comfortable in Agile teams with frequent releases.
• Ability to log precise repro steps for developers.

You will own product quality end to end across web and core workflows. Working closely with engineering and product, you will plan and run testing, decide what's ready to ship, and set the quality bar the team builds toward.

What You Will Do

• Features end to end — walk complete user journeys the way a real user would, surfacing edge cases and broken states between steps, not just on isolated screens.
• Verify features work consistently across major browsers and devices.
• Own test planning and execution for new features and regression cycles and run daily release testing — you make the call on what's ready to ship.
• Test AI‑powered features (recommendations, matching, agents) for output quality, not just whether they work.
• Flag performance issues — slow loads, laggy workflows, states that degrade with real data volumes.
• Test for access‑control and data‑leak issues across user roles.
• Log and triage bugs with precise repro steps so engineering isn't chasing you for details.
• Regression‑test every fix before sign‑off and set up bug‑tracking and quality practices where none exist yet.

What You Bring

• 4–7 years of hands‑on manual QA on a SaaS or consumer product.
• Real experience testing AI/ML features — you can point to a specific model‑behaviour bug you caught, not just a UI one.
• A sharp eye for edge cases — you find the bugs a spec never anticipated.
• Working knowledge of API testing (Postman or similar).
• Comfortable in Agile teams with frequent release cycles.
• Steady in a fast‑moving environment where specs are sometimes incomplete — you ask the right questions before you start testing.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Selenium) or basic automation scripting is a plus — this role is manual‑first, but candidates who understand automation thinking write sharper, more structured manual test cases.
• Prior experience in EdTech, fintech, or another high‑stakes‑decision consumer product.
