Job summary

CHARLES & KEITH GROUP in India is seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer to strengthen our ECommerce technology team. You will ensure quality, stability, and performance of SFCC storefronts through rigorous manual testing across the full commerce journey—from browsing and checkout to order management and API integrations.

You will design test plans, execute tests, verify backend workflows, and collaborate with developers and PMs to validate fixes while identifying risks and edge cases

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA experience, with 2-3 years on SFCC projects.
• Understanding of ecommerce flows (browse, cart, checkout, order fulfillment).
• Experience testing APIs and API-based integrations.
• Strong skills in writing clear, structured test documentation.
• Hands-on experience with Jira or similar defect-tracking tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements.

You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, stability, and performance of our Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) storefronts through rigorous manual testing across the full commerce journey - from browsing and checkout to order management and different APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements and technical specifications
• Execute manual functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing on SFCC (SFRA) based storefronts
• Test backend workflows, including Order Management System, Jobs, and third-party service integrations
• Verify payment flows and gateway integrations (e.g., payment providers, tax, and shipping services)
• Log, track, and manage defects through Jira, providing clear reproduction steps and severity assessment
• Collaborate closely with developers and project managers to clarify requirements and validate fixes
• Identify and communicate risk areas and edge cases proactively during the testing lifecycle

Requirements

• 5+ years of QA experience, with at least 2-3 years on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) projects
• Solid understanding of ECommerce/retail business flows (browse, cart, checkout, order fulfillment)
• Experience testing jobs, services, and API-based integrations
• Strong skills in writing clear, structured test documentation
• Hands-on experience with Jira or similar defect-tracking tools
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Salesforce certification is advantageous (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator or B2C Commerce Developer)
• Basic exposure to test automation tools is advantageous (Selenium or similar)
