Job summary

CES is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to drive quality through robust automation, API validation, and end-to-end testing on enterprise applications. You'll build scalable test frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and Cucumber, execute diverse testing types, and collaborate with developers, analysts, and DevOps to ensure stable releases.

Experience with CI/CD and AI-assisted testing is preferred, along with SQL validation and API testing experience.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of overall experience, with at least 5 years in software testing and test automation.
• Strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, automated test frameworks, SDLC/STLC.
• Experience with API testing, database testing, SQL validation, defect management tools, and CI/CD environments.
• Willingness to adopt AI-enabled working while ensuring accuracy and human review of outputs.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with 6-8 years of experience to drive quality engineering initiatives through robust test automation, API validation, and end-to-end testing. This role offers an opportunity to work on enterprise applications, modern testing frameworks, and CI/CD-driven delivery environments.

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated and manual test cases for web, API, and enterprise applications.
• Build and enhance scalable test automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, and similar technologies.

What We Need

• 6-8 years of overall experience with at least 5+ years in software testing, quality assurance, and test automation.
• Strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, automated test frameworks, STLC, SDLC, and test execution strategies.
• Experience with API testing, database testing, SQL validation, defect management tools, and CI/CD environments.
• Comfortable using AI tools responsibly to improve productivity, quality, research, documentation, and day-to-day work outcomes.
• Expected to adopt AI-enabled ways of working while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, compliance, and human review of outputs.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or similar build and release platforms.
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or equivalent solutions.
• Familiarity with performance and load testing tools and methodologies.
• Experience testing cloud-based applications and services.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery models and modern DevOps practices.
