Job summary

Zensar Technologies is seeking an Automation Engineer to design and implement robust test automation frameworks, execute manual and automated test suites, and ensure high‑quality releases for Zensar’s products. The role requires deep Java coding skills, extensive API and web testing experience, and a strong focus on CI/CD.

You will work with cross‑functional Agile teams, develop and maintain Java‑based frameworks using Selenium, Rest Assured, TestNG/JUnit, and Testim, and mentor junior QA

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of manual and automation testing experience.
• Strong Java programming skills with solid OOP concepts.
• Hands‑on expertise with Selenium, Rest Assured, Postman, TestNG/JUnit, and Testim.
• Deep knowledge of API testing, RESTful services, and backend validation.
• Proficiency in GitHub, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong SQL/database validation skills in Linux/Unix environments.
• Experience with JSON/XML payload validation and OAuth/OAuth2 authentication.
• Familiarity with Jira and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Report defects, track quality metrics, and communicate findings via Jira.
• Identify risks, propose mitigation strategies, and contribute to test planning and estimation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional Agile teams to ensure product quality.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and drive best practices in test automation.
