Job summary

Tekskills India is seeking a proficient Python backend developer to design, build, and maintain scalable services. You will work with Django, Flask, or FastAPI to create robust APIs and microservices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes performance optimization, cloud deployment on AWS/Azure/GCP, and integration of CI/CD pipelines with Docker and Kubernetes. You will also contribute to testing, security, and comprehensive documentation.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python with Django/Flask/FastAPI.
• Experience building RESTful and asynchronous APIs.
• Experience with microservices architectures.
• Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiar with CI/CD and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong debugging and testing skills (pytest/unittest).

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Application & Backend Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python applications, services, and backend components using frameworks like Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• API & Microservices Engineering: Build RESTful and asynchronous APIs, design microservices architectures, and integrate with internal/external systems and databases.
• Data Handling & Processing: Work with SQL/NoSQL databases, message queues, and data pipelines; implement ETL workflows and ensure high data quality.
• Performance & Optimization: Optimize application performance, memory usage, and execution speed; profile code and resolve bottlenecks.
• Cloud & DevOps Integration: Deploy and operate applications on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), integrating CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Testing & Debugging: Write robust unit/integration tests (pytest/unittest), debug complex issues, and support QA/UAT and production deployments.
• Collaboration: Partner with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Security & Compliance: Implement secure coding practices, handle authentication/authorization, and ensure application compliance with standards.
• Lifecycle Management: Manage versioning, releases, observability, and maintain applications throughout their lifecycle.
• Documentation: Produce clear technical documentation, API references, and user guides for developers and stakeholders.
