Job summary

Atyeti is seeking a senior Application Developer to design and build scalable data pipelines in a cloud-native AWS environment. You will work with Python, SQL, and REST APIs to create robust data workflows, and contribute to architecture decisions and code reviews.

The role requires 7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, strong database skills (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB), and the ability to onboard/train teammates while maintaining documentation and knowledge bases in a distributed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience as an Application Developer or similar role.
• Advanced Python; strong SQL and AWS cloud-native development.
• Proven expertise architecting scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT).
• Experience with extensive data pipelines.
• Advanced proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).
• Skilled with Docker and AWS cloud services (Lambda, EC2, ECR, ECS, AWS Batch).
• Experience building, integrating, and maintaining REST APIs and data workflows (JSON).
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to onboard/train new engineers and contribute to knowledge bases.
• Strong background in code reviews, monitoring performance/stability, and refining solutions.
• Self-motivation and reliability in remote work with distributed teams.
