Job summary

Pi Square Technologies in Pune, India, is seeking a Strong Python Data Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in Python-based data processing and ETL, including SQL Server, to design and manage end-to-end data pipelines.

The role involves designing scalable pipelines, implementing ETL/ELT processes, writing complex SQL, and collaborating with multiple stakeholders to ensure data quality, performance, and reliable production jobs.

Qualifications

• Strong Python Data Engineer with atleast 5+ years hands-on experience on Python-based data processing frameworks, combined with strong ETL (preferably SQL Server) capabilities to design and manage end-to-end data pipelines.
• Design and develop scalable data pipelines using Python frameworks
• Implement ETL/ELT processes for data ingestion, transformation, and loading
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures
• Excellent grip on debugging and problem solving techniques
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements and workflows
• Ensure data quality, performance optimization, and reliability
• Monitor and support batch data pipelines and production jobs
• Ability to work in team in diverse/multiple stakeholder environment and collaborate with upstream/downstream functional teams to identify, troubleshoot and resolve data issues.
• Strong problem solving and Good Analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
• Stay up to date with new technologies and industry trends in Development
