Role Description

The Senior Public Relations Account Manager is a full-time remote role responsible for independently handling key client accounts and leading strategic PR initiatives. This role involves developing and executing communication plans, drafting and reviewing press releases, pitches, and other media materials, and managing day-to-day client communication. The Senior Account Manager will oversee media relations activities, including identifying opportunities, securing coverage, and nurturing relationships with journalists and influencers. Additional responsibilities include monitoring industry trends, managing reporting and analytics for clients, coordinating with internal teams to deliver integrated campaigns, and mentoring junior team members to ensure high-quality output and consistent client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong Public Relations and Media Relations skills, with experience in managing relationships with journalists, editors, and influencers.


• Proficiency in writing and reviewing Press Releases and other PR content for diverse industries and audiences.


• Proven Account Management and client servicing capabilities, including strategic planning, project management, and performance reporting.


• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively to clients and internal stakeholders.


• Several years of experience in PR or communications, preferably in an agency setting and across multiple industry verticals.


• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines under pressure.


• Demonstrated leadership skills, including mentoring team members and coordinating cross-functional collaboration.
