Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead MEP design coordination on building projects in India. You will oversee initial design development, ensure compliance and approvals, and manage shop drawings, installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical, HVAC, plumbing and firefighting systems.

The role demands 10+ years in building projects, strong coordination across disciplines, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (BE/BTech).
• 10+ years of experience in building projects, with MEP focus.
• Technical awareness of civil, electro-mechanical, and architectural works.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage in initial design development of MEP services and assess constructability.
• Review legal and statutory compliance of design and obtain approvals on time.
• Coordinate with all disciplines of Services Design.
• Ensure contractors submit shop drawings and obtain approvals.
• Ensure conditions of approvals are implemented at site during execution on schedule.
• Execute services work per drawings and specifications with quality.
• Assist in vendor and material selection aligned with client procurement.
• Oversee installation, testing and commissioning of Electrical/HVAC/Plumbing and Firefighting systems.
• Manage handovers with relevant documents and as-built drawings.
• Initiate training for turnover with contractor and consultants.
