Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise Development LP seeks a Senior Program Manager to oversee multi-function programs spanning engineering development and implementation of products or services. You will craft schedules, budgets, and resource plans while coordinating internal teams and external partners to deliver on time and within budget.

The role requires strong communication with stakeholders, deep program management experience, and the ability to drive process improvements and quality initiatives,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent.
• PMP/PMI certification preferred.
• Typically 6-10 years experience.
• Extensive experience with project and program planning tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.

Responsibilities

• Manages and leads a program involving multiple functions and project teams to drive the engineering development and implementation process for a product or service offering.
• Develops and directs development of schedules, critical deliverables, budget, and resource allocation plan.
• Manages activities of supporting project teams and internal development partners; ensures progress against plan and adjusts as needed.
• Communicates program progress, escalations, and analysis to stakeholders; collaborates with management to implement changes to product, processes, or business practices.
• Drives innovation and integration of new technologies and quality initiatives into projects in manufacturing/engineering.
• Leads and mentoring to less-experienced staff.

Projects are typically shorter-term, less complex and more contained with a defined time frame. Programs are typically longer-term, multi-functional, multi-project with complex requirements and effort. Manage activities, resource capability, schedules, budgets, and ensure cross company communications to facilitate product completion on schedule within budget. Work with engineering management to identify and improve process and program efficiencies. Work can involve external parties such as standards bodies, partners, etc. **Management Level Definition:**Contributions impact technical components of HPE products, solutions, or services regularly and sustainable. Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Provides expertise and partnership to functional and technical project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives.
