Job summary

Jhpiego invites applications for a Program Coordinator position in Mayurbhanj, Odisha, for the M-SPARR project. The role provides programmatic and administrative support across 10 blocks, coordinating with state and district health authorities, private providers, and communities to ensure timely implementation.

You will monitor indicators, manage data, and help prepare reports while aligning activities with DAMaN, Arogya Pathe, and IHIP platforms.

Qualifications

• Masters in Social Sciences/Social Work or any other relevant discipline is essential.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in programmatic, administrative, and data support functions in public health programs.
• Experience in NVBDCP/DAMaN initiatives, community engagement, or private-sector coordination in Odisha or tribal districts is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with state, district, and block health authorities, private providers, PRIs, and community stakeholders
• Support planning and execution of trainings, workshops, and review meetings
• Ensure alignment with DAMaN, Arogya Pathe, and IHIP platforms
• Support rollout of key interventions of the project in consultation with the project lead
• Track implementation across 10 blocks of Mayurbhanj and support scale-up
• Monitor progress against timelines and key indicators
• Collect and manage data on fever alerts, private-sector reporting, LLIN checks, PLA micro-plans, and response timelines
• Support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and evaluation reports
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and timely submission
• Coordinate logistics for trainings, field activities, app deployment, and review meetings
• Support procurement and field-level resource management
• Facilitate training and mentoring of youth champions and PLA facilitators
• Support community surveillance, PLA sessions, and active case detection linkages
• Promote IEC/BCC activities in local languages (Odia, Santali, Ho)
• Undertake any additional tasks assigned by the supervisor to support program delivery

About The Position

Jhpiego is hiring for the position of Program Coordinator based in Mayurbhanj, Odisha for the M-SPARR project. The position will contribute to providing programmatic and administrative support in the implementation of project activities across 10 high-priority blocks, in overall coordination with stakeholders and ensuring smooth execution of activities. The Program Coordinator will report to the Project lead.

Reporting Line

The Senior Program Coordinator will report to the Associate Director, M-SPARR.

• Periodic travel to project Geographies State /districts for documentation, Reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
