Responsibilities:

1. Perform daily operations of HBM machines on casings and rotary parts in line with ISO:9001 & ISO:19443 standards, using SQDC approach to achieve shift-wise targets based on machining inputs and standard work.
2. Contribute to team efforts in accomplishing organizational goals.
3. Follow site EHS procedures and nuclear safety awareness, including risk assessment at shift start.
4. Report any stop work or concerns related to EHS & quality.
5. Perform activities in compliance with regulatory and organizational EHS policies.
6. Assess risks and hazards associated with tasks and implement mitigation actions.
7. Undergo required EHS training and acquire necessary authorizations before performing activities.
8. Ensure contract workers perform activities safely in your vicinity.
9. Maintain knowledge of EHS guidelines, environmental impacts, and risks related to machine shop activities.
10. Understand nuclear safety culture, ITNS-I & A standards.
11. Review and understand machining documents such as MOPs, SOPs, drawings, KSL, program files, tool sheets, and FMEAs.
12. Follow TPM procedures, including AM checklists and participation in PM activities.
13. Possess knowledge of casing components and CNC milling machine operation.
14. Perform job setup, offsets, tool setup, and precise quality measurements as per instructions.
15. Machining of nuclear casings and parts, including specific operations like Gland bore machining, taper pin holes, drilling, tapping, thread milling, boring, key slot machining, and pipe machining.
16. Monitor production, adjust feeds, and set machines appropriately.
17. Use measuring instruments, troubleshoot machines, and understand CNC and manual programs.
18. Apply lean principles such as 5S, TPM, Kaizen to maintain a safe and clean workplace.
19. Coordinate with team members and cross-functional teams to ensure uninterrupted production.
20. Support other machine and assembly teams.
