Job summary

Wolters Kluwer Pune is seeking a senior software engineer with 7+ years of software development experience to refactor Azure IaaS/PaaS cloud services for high availability, resiliency, scalability, security, and optimal performance. You will collaborate with architects, tech leads, product owners, QA, and development teams to deliver high-quality features on time.

You will mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and contribute to improving development workflows and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proven expertise in C#, .NET Core/.NET Framework, and related technologies.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and integration.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in code refactoring, quality improvement, and performance optimization.
• Strong knowledge of multi-threading, scalability, performance, and application security.
• Good knowledge of SQL Server, PostgreSQL.
• Experience with agile environments and SDLC (Scrum, SAFe).
• Experience participating in product release cycles, code reviews, and defect triage.
• Knowledge of Azure infrastructure and architecture; Git for version control.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
• Familiarity with SpecKit/OpenSpec and Copilot tools.
• Knowledge/test design for AI-enabled applications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Architects and Tech Lead to finalize plan to refactor Azure cloud services for high availability, resiliency, and security.
• Develop scalable, maintainable, and secure solutions that meet business requirements.
• Guide and mentor junior developers via code reviews and best practices.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and QA to deliver high-quality features on time.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex issues in production and development.
• Write clean, testable code and maintain unit/integration tests.
• Document implementation and contribute to CI/CD improvements.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and bring innovative ideas to the team.
