Job summary

Wolters Kluwer is seeking a Test Automation Engineer in Pune, India. You will join a product development team delivering highly configurable software using agile methodologies.

You will design and implement strategies and tools for automated testing and contribute across the full product life cycle as an individual contributor. The role requires 3+ years in automation testing with JavaScript and frameworks, strong SQL and API/UI test skills, and experience with test planning and debugging.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of automation test experience using JavaScript and test frameworks like Quest, Jest, TestCafe.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design and debugging skills.
• Experience in manual testing.
• Strong experience in API automation testing and framework building.
• Strong knowledge of writing integration and UI tests.
• Test automation skills – with JavaScript.
• Awareness on Test Plan and Test strategy.
• Proficient creating scripts using reusable methods.
• Experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with SQL programming and database technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop/automate the functional tests for product.
• Contribute to test case identification
• Contribute to necessary Testing documentation
• Perform assessment of current automation coverage & suggest ways to increase automation coverage.
• Maintenance- Update automated tests as per changes in the application.
• Extend, enhance, update existing automation frameworks to work with new services and write end-to-end automation for user scenarios (UI, service layer, API, integration, and performance testing)
• Perform manual and exploratory testing
• Execute these tests according to a defined schedule and transmit the results.
• Evaluate the existing manual regression suite to translate manual test cases to automation tests.
• Document anomalies/bugs encountered during the test.
• Develop and maintain test tools infrastructure and development environments.
• Produce the relevant documentation.
• Any other duties as assigned by the Manager

Position Summary

As a Test automation engineer, you will work in a product development team that develops highly configurable software in a collaborative environment employing agile development methodologies. As an individual contributor, you participate in the entire life cycle of product development and contribute to build quality product offerings. In conjunction with development engineers, you will design and implement strategies and tools for efficient and comprehensive automated testing.

Under direct supervision, assists in testing application components, software tools, and utilities required for the operation, maintenance, and control of computer systems. Assists in validating existing software to work as per Business Requirements and create and maintain required documentation for regular validation.

Education :

Must have:
