Job summary

Syncron, a leading SaaS company, seeks a Senior Product Owner in Bengaluru to drive AI/ML-powered capabilities for Contract Price SaaS. You will partner with PM, Engineering, Data Science, UX, and business stakeholders to translate needs into scalable product capabilities that improve pricing decisions and profitability.

Responsibilities include owning the backlog, delivering AI features end-to-end, and collaborating across teams to ensure value, quality, and timely releases.

Qualifications

• 7-12 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Business Analyst in enterprise SaaS products.
• Experience delivering AI/ML or data-driven products in an Agile environment with Data Scientists.
• Strong experience managing product backlogs, writing user stories, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop onboarding and analytics configuration/deployment processes for Expert Services and Partner organizations.
• Own the product backlog and end-to-end delivery of AI/ML features from discovery through release.
• Translate business needs into epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and specs.
• Prioritize backlog based on customer value, business impact, and technical dependencies.
• Collaborate with management, Engineering, Data Science, UX, Customer Success, and customers to deliver AI-powered solutions.
• Engage technical and domain experts across customers.
• Lead Agile ceremonies: backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives.
• Partner with ML Engineers/DS to deliver predictive models, evaluation, explainability, monitoring, improvement.
• Communicate roadmap, delivery progress, risks, dependencies, and release plans.
• Collaborate with Engineering/Architecture to ensure scalability, performance, security, maintainability.
• Lead defect triage and manage technical debt for high-quality releases.
• Support release planning, demos, and customer enablement.
• Discover ideas to add AI into products for new features and stickiness.
• Ensure AI/ML solutions deliver measurable business outcomes.

About The Role

We are seeking a Senior Product Owner to drive the delivery of AI/ML-powered capabilities for Syncron's Contract Price SaaS platform. You will work closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Data Science, UX, and business stakeholders to transform customer needs into scalable product capabilities that improve pricing decisions, contract profitability, and customer outcomes.

What would you do?

• Design and develop a customer onboarding and analytics configuration and deployment process to support Expert Services and Partner organizations
• Own the product backlog and end-to-end delivery of AI/ML features from discovery through release.
• Translate business needs into epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
• Prioritize & maintain the backlog based on customer value, business impact, technical dependencies, and product strategy.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Data Science, UX, Customer Success, and customers to define and deliver innovative AI-powered solutions.
• Engage key technical and domain experts across our customers
• Drive Agile ceremonies, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Partner with ML Engineers and Data Scientists to deliver on roadmap requirements for predictive models, model evaluation, explainability, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Communicate roadmap, delivery progress, risks, dependencies, and release plans to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Architecture teams to understand technical trade-offs, platform & product capabilities, and architectural decisions, ensuring product decisions support scalability, performance, security, and long-term maintainability.
• Lead defect triage, manage technical debt, and ensure high-quality product releases.
• Support release planning, documentation, product demonstrations, and customer enablement.
• Discover new ideas to incorporate AI into Product for new features, capabilities and improving stickiness of the product.
• Ensure AI/ML solutions deliver measurable business outcomes through improved pricing accuracy, profitability, and operational efficiency.

What we expect

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• 7-12 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Business Analyst in enterprise SaaS products.
• Experience delivering AI/ML or data-driven products in an Agile environment and working with Data Scientists.
• Strong experience managing product backlogs, writing user stories, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in Contract Pricing, CPQ, Pricing Optimization, Revenue Management, Service Lifecycle Management, Warranty, or Aftermarket solutions.
• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts such as predictive analytics, model evaluation, explainability, and MLOps.
• Hands on experience with GenAI, Agentic AI
• Experience working with cloud-based B2B SaaS platforms, APIs, analytics, and data products.
