Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Sr. Product Manager to lead AI-native healthcare product strategy and delivery. You will drive the vision, roadmap, and portfolio priorities across multiple teams in a global US healthcare IT context.

You’ll translate business opportunities into scalable AI capabilities, influence data and platform decisions, and communicate outcomes to executives. A strong background in AI product lifecycle and stakeholder management is essential for success.

Qualifications

• 11+ years of overall industry experience in software development and relevant domains.
• 8+ years of Product Management experience with increasing ownership of complex technology products and platforms.
• Solid understanding of AI product lifecycle, evaluation frameworks, governance, and human-in-the-loop systems.
• Deep technical fluency across APIs, cloud platforms, data ecosystems, and enterprise architectures.
• Demonstrated ability to influence strategy and execution across multiple teams in a matrixed environment.
• Proven success launching and scaling AI-native or agentic products, including autonomous workflows, orchestration, tool use, retrieval, and decision automation.
• Proven exceptional analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

Position in this function leads the vision, strategy and execution of AI-native healthcare products and platforms that transform payment integrity business. Drive portfolio outcomes by partnering with business, engineering, AI/ML, operations and executive stakeholders to scale innovative solutions and deliver measurable business impact.

Primary Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications:

• 11+ years of overall industry experience in software development and relevant domains

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA or equivalent product leadership credentials
• Experience in US Healthcare IT products strategy and development
• Experience partnering with Data Science, AI/ML, and Analytics teams to deliver production‑scale AI solutions
• Product leadership across global teams, particularly US‑India operating models
• A strategic product leader with the ability to identify transformational opportunities, shape AI‑powered product strategy, influence executive stakeholders and lead cross‑functional teams to deliver significant business and customer outcomes at scale.
