Job summary

Bombaydc is seeking a Senior Website/SaaS Product Design Specialist to craft dashboards and enterprise applications. You will lead design efforts with a strong product mindset, mentor team members, and collaborate with product, engineering, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality experiences.

Ideal candidates have 4–5 years in product/UX/UI design for B2B SaaS, strong Figma skills, and a track record of translating complex workflows into intuitive interfaces.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and detail-oriented Senior Website/SaaS Product Design Specialist with a strong track record of designing sophisticated dashboards and B2B enterprise applications. The ideal candidate combines exceptional design craft with a deep understanding of complex workflows, data-heavy interfaces, and enterprise user needs to create intuitive, scalable, and visually outstanding digital products that go beyond functionality to deliver award-worthy experiences. A strong product mindset, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach are essential, along with the ability to mentor designers, elevate design standards, and foster a culture of continuous learning and excellence within the team

What will you be responsible for:

• Product Vision: Define and drive the product design vision for SaaS products, ensuring alignment with business objectives, product strategy, and enterprise user needs.
• Design Leadership: Provide design leadership and mentorship to the product design team, fostering a collaborative and innovative design culture.
• End-to-End Design: Lead end-to-end design processes, from ideation and concept development to detailed interaction and visual design, ensuring a seamless and delightful user experience.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and stakeholders, to bring design concepts to life and ensure successful product launches.
• User Research and Testing: Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to iterate and refine designs, ensuring a user-centric approach throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Design Systems: Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems, ensuring consistency and scalability across products and features.
• Stay Current: Keep abreast of industry trends, design best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve and innovate our product design processes

Therefore, you should have:

• Experience: 4–5 years in product/UX/UI design, with proven experience designing B2B enterprise applications and complex dashboards.
• Design Expertise: Proficiency in product metrics, user-centered design principles (especially for native and web apps), information architecture, interaction design, and pixel-perfect UI design.
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a design team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment. Have the EQ to handle conflicts.
• Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex ideas into intuitive and effective design solutions. Ability to hustle and get fast outcomes while navigating ambiguity.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Figma and a fair understanding of front-end development technologies.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• User Advocacy: A passion for user advocacy and a deep understanding of user research methodologies.
• Portfolio: An online portfolio that documents your best work and thinking process (a PDF would do too). If not, you might be asked to take a design assignment
