Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior product designer to lead the UX strategy and mentorship for a mature product organization. You will own the end-to-end design process, deliver wireframes and prototypes, and align stakeholders across product and engineering.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience in or with a product design organization.
• Expert knowledge of Figma.
• Deep understanding of user-centered design methodologies, research, and processes.
• Bachelor's Degree (listed as the study level).
• Preferred: 8–10 years of experience in product design, preferably within a mature product organisation.
• Preferred: Proven experience leading and mentoring a small team of designers.
• Preferred: Experience designing complex enterprise tools and workflows for internal users.

Responsibilities

• Identify the right artifacts based on project needs and timeline.
• Deliver high-quality wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity specifications.
• Set the vision for the user experience.
• Develop understanding and empathy for users through user-centered methodologies, external analysis, research, and data.
• Present design decisions and design strategy to peers, partners, and cross-functional leadership.
• Improve design processes and workflows across the broader design organization.
• Contribute to and improve design systems and UX patterns.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, design leads, and other cross-functional partners to define requirements and deliver projects.
• Engage with designers to exchange ideas, share skills, and provide mentorship.
• Mentor associate designers and peers; may have direct reports.
• Leverage design tools to deliver artifacts, drive collaboration, and improve broader design-team workflow.
• Create and maintain UI/UX resources such as content templates, samples, and guidelines.
• Analyze user research, business insights, and other data to continuously improve customer experiences.
• Review proposed product changes or enhancements for compliance with user-experience and satisfaction standards
