Job summary

Hawk MarTech in Gurugram (India) is seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead design across our product suite. This IC role drives problems from definition to shipped experiences, balancing craft, systems thinking, and business impact while partnering with product, engineering, and brand teams.

You will design for mobile-first realities, contribute to design systems, translate ambiguous problems into flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity visuals, and ensure pixel-perfect handoff with engineers.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of product design experience at product companies (not agencies).
• Independently led design initiatives end-to-end as an IC.
• Strong portfolio for mobile and web products, consumer-facing at scale.
• Fluency in Figma, components, variables, auto-layout, prototyping, and dev handoff.
• Solid grasp of design systems and token-based workflows.
• Balancing visual craft with systems thinking and business goals.
• Comfort designing for the Indian market context (Hinglish copy, Android-first, diverse devices).
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

You'll serve urban Indian users at scale, balancing craft, systems thinking, and business impact, and partner closely with product, engineering, and brand.

Responsibilities

• Lead design initiatives across multiple products, owning flows from problem definition to polished, shippable UI.


• Design for mobile-first realities, AMOLED dark mode, budget device constraints, text scaling, and density-independent layouts.


• Contribute to and extend our design systems, working fluently with tokens, components, and multi-platform handoff.


• Translate ambiguous product problems and PRDs into clear user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs.


• Collaborate with engineers on pixel-accurate handoff and design QA against live builds.


• Craft interaction and motion design that elevates engagement (prototyping, Smart Animate, micro-interactions).


• Champion the user through research, competitive analysis, and data-informed decisions.

Requirements

• 6+ years of product design experience, primarily at product companies (not agencies).


• A track record of independently leading design initiatives end-to-end as an IC.


• Strong portfolio spanning both mobile and web products, ideally consumer-facing at scale.


• Fluency in Figma, components, variables, auto-layout, prototyping, and dev handoff.
