Qualifications

• 10+ years of total experience in product management or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years in equity compensation, with hands-on work on US equity administration platforms.
• Proficiency with SQL and data structures; ability to read data end-to-end.
• Strong written communication for specs, defect reports, and stakeholder updates.

Job Description

Help shape a platform that stock plan administrators depend on to run equity and purchase plans with confidence. You’ll turn real operational pain points into crisp product decisions and reliable releases. Your work will directly improve accuracy, speed, and clarity across the equity lifecycle.

As a Product Manager within the Equity Administration Platform team, you own key capabilities across equity and purchase plans, order processing, and finalization. You partner closely with engineering, design, operations, compliance, and client-facing teams to define requirements, make trade-offs, and deliver high-quality features. You ensure the platform scales through strong documentation, disciplined prioritization, and hands‑on issue leadership.

Job Responsibilities

• Own the roadmap and requirements for assigned product areas — write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and edge‑case documentation
• Partner daily with engineering on design decisions, trade‑offs, and release scope; participate in grooming, sprint planning, and demos
• Collaborate across operations, implementation, client service, and compliance to translate real administrator pain points into product changes
• Triage and drive resolution of production issues — reproduce problems, assess client impact, distinguish defects from configuration or data issues, and prioritize fixes
• Understand the backend well enough to be useful: data models for grants and transactions, vesting and lifecycle processing, tax withholding logic, integrations with HRIS/payroll/brokerage, batch jobs, and reporting pipelines
• Support client demos, RFP responses, and release communications
• Track competitor capability and feed findings into prioritization

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

• 10+ years of total experience
• Minimum 5 years in equity compensation, with hands‑on work at a US equity administration platform (participant and/or administrator side)
• Working knowledge of plan types (RSU, RSA, option, ESPP, PSU) and the mechanics behind them: vesting schedules, releases, exercises, purchase periods, forfeitures, and dispositions
• Comfort reading data structures, tracing transactions end to end, and writing or reading SQL
• Strong written communication — specs, defect writeups, and stakeholder updates
• Proven ability to work in cross‑functional agile teams

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

• Engineering or technical background — degree or prior hands‑on experience in software engineering, computer science, or information technology
• Experience with platform migrations or client implementations
• Exposure to global/multi‑jurisdiction equity administration
• Background in financial services or fintech
