Job summary

Envision Energy in Trichy, India, is seeking a Process Engineer - Blade Manufacturing to lead line setups and layout design for blade production. You will develop process docs, train teams, and drive FPQ through mass production to ensure seamless operations.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and has 5–10 years of blade manufacturing experience, with strong Lean, leadership, and process development skills to support PFMEA and product validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Polymer, Mechanical, Production, Industrial or Aerodynamics.
• 5–10 years of Blade manufacturing experience.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Setting up of new production line following Envision requirements.
• Design and define the best manufacturing layout for the Blade manufacturing process.
• Prepare and maintain process documentation including Work Instructions and Bill of Manufacturing.
• Develop training modules and conduct technical training.
• Involve and execute FPQ, 0-series blade and mass production.
• Handle the data bank for FPQ, capture lessons learned and close points with cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to process development and validation (PFMEA, PVPL, PVPR, MRS). Lean manufacturing.

Position Responsibilities:

• Setting up of new production line following Envision requirements.
• Design and define the best manufacturing layout for the Blade manufacturing process.
• Responsible for Blade manufacturing process Development of the Process documentation like Work Instruction for manufacturing process, in process tooling specification and Bill of manufacturing.
• Knowledge on blade manufacturing process from start to end Technical knowledge transfer – Develop Training module, Skill Matrix evolution.
• Responsible for preparation of Training material and providing technical training.
• Involve and execute the FPQ, 0-series blade & Mass production.
• Responsible to handle the Problem data bank start from the FPQ process including the lesson learned points and closure of all the points with CFT approach in 0-series production.

Job Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines – Polymer / Mechanical / Production / Industrial / Aerodynamics with minimum 5-10 years of experience in Blade manufacturing process;
• In-depth understanding of Blade manufacturing process with Lean initiates and innovation;
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team, including experience in scheduling, task assignment, and performance monitoring.
