Job summary

IFF is a global leader in flavors, fragrances, and food ingredients. The role sits in Hyderabad (hybrid) and focuses on Intercompany Accounting within the R2R framework, ensuring accuracy across AR/AP, loans, and royalties.

The candidate will reconcile monthly intercompany transactions, support consolidation, and drive process improvements with audit readiness. A relevant commerce degree and 2–7 years of R2R Intercompany experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in commerce or management is required or CA Inter / CMA Inter qualification.
• 2–7 years of experience in Record-to-Report (R2R) Intercompany Accounting.
• Strong working knowledge of ERP and reporting tools like SAP S/4HANA, EPM, AO, ICMR or similar systems.
• Proficient in MS Excel for reconciliation, analysis, and reporting.
• Clear written and verbal communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong understanding of Accounting principles, focusing on Intercompany Trade and Services at Trading Partner Pair level.
• Reconcile intercompany transactions monthly and perform cross‑validation to identify and resolve missing or unmatched trading partners.
• Perform detailed Intercompany reconciliations at Pair level for AR/AP, Loans, Interest, Commission, Royalty, and Miscellaneous balances.
• Confirm balances against closing schedules with accounting teams and ensure timely accruals for unreconciled transactions.
• Run Pre‑check Mismatch reports to identify variances before Month‑End Close.
• Extract Consolidation reports from WD5 and investigate imbalances for consolidation and elimination.
• Prepare Top‑side Journal Vouchers to address significant imbalances identified during MEC chase reconciliations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and automation.
• Support audits with required documentation and bookkeeping tasks.

What Makes You the Right Fit

• Holds a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in commerce or management, or is CA Inter / CMA Inter qualified from a recognized institution.
• Brings 2–7 years of relevant experience in Record‑to‑Report (R2R) Intercompany Accounting.
• Possesses working knowledge of enterprise resource planning and reporting tools such as SAP S/4HANA, EPM, Analysis for Office (AO), ICMR, or similar systems.
• Demonstrates strong proficiency in MS Excel for reconciliation, analysis, and reporting activities.
• Communicates effectively with stakeholders through clear written and verbal communication.
