Job summary

AspenTech invites a hands-on technical leader to guide the Inmation team in Pune. You will drive architecture and development for high-performance backends, connecting industrial devices to cloud platforms, with emphasis on scalable distributed systems.

You will lead engineers and QA, steer technical decisions, and shape delivery plans while balancing engineering excellence with business needs in an Agile setup.

Qualifications

• Strong professional experience with modern C++.
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and multithreading.
• Familiarity with OS fundamentals and software architecture.
• Experience with networking, databases, APIs, and security concepts.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• CI/CD and Agile development familiarity.

The Role

Join the AspenTech Inmation team and help build the next generation of industrial data and automation platforms. You’ll work on the Enterprise Operations Platform, developing high-performance distributed systems that connect industrial devices, move massive amounts of data, and make that data accessible from the edge to the cloud.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role where you’ll guide a talented team of engineers while actively contributing to architecture, design, and development. What You’ll Need

• Strong professional experience with modern C++
• Deep understanding of: o Data structures and algorithms o Concurrent and multithreaded programming o Operating system fundamentals o Software architecture and system design
• Familiarity with networking, databases, servers, APIs, and security concepts
• Experience with scripting languages (Lua, Python, or similar) is a plus
• Exposure to container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Understanding of CI/CD and modern software development practices
• Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working in Agile development environments
