Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Data Architect to design and implement Azure-based cloud infrastructure for enterprise data platforms. You will automate deployments with Terraform/ARM templates and manage CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.

You will collaborate with data engineers and architects, optimize resource usage, and enforce security and RBAC across environments. The role requires hands-on Azure DevOps experience and containerized deployments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing scalable MS Azure cloud infrastructure for data platforms.
• Experience building and automating CI/CD pipelines for data engineering workloads.
• Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, ARM templates) and security practices.

Inviting applications for the role of Senior Principal consultant - Azure Infrastructure & Dev Ops Architect About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Infrastructure & Dev Ops Architect to join our growing Data Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in architecting and implementing scalable cloud infrastructure CI/CD pipelines and security frameworks for modern data platforms on MS Azure cloud platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure components on MS Azure to support Enterprise‑grade data platforms
• Automate infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure-as-Code (Ia C) tools like Terraform and ARM templates
• Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines for data engineering workflows
• Optimize cloud resource usage cost and performance across environments
• Collaborate with data engineers and architects to ensure smooth data platform integration
• Set up monitoring alerting and logging solutions to ensure platform health
• Implement security policies network configurations and role‑based access control (RBAC)
• Stay current with industry best practices and evolving technologies in cloud Dev Ops and AI
• Relevant years of hands‑on experience with Azure Infrastructure and Dev Ops practices
• Experience in designing and developing fully automating scalable CI/CD pipelines end‑to‑end for Azure resources like Iaa S Paa S and Saa S services and container‑based deployments
• Experience with Azure data services like ADF Databricks (including Unity Catalog) SQL Server Logic App Function App Web apps are must
• Experience in Security defined deployment process and Infrastructure provisioning in cloud
• Experience in SDLC process used tools like JIRA Azure Dev Ops etc.
• Experience with Automating the Infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and ARM templates
• Experience with troubleshooting monitoring and logging of deployment process
• Research new technologies or approaches that will improve efficiency and effectiveness
• Automation of operational activities and tasks
• Experience in maintaining code repository and good knowledge in branching strategy
• Deep knowledge of Azure cloud services with expertise in implementing cloud networking and security services across environments
• Strong understanding of system security and data protection
• Experience on Azure Dev Ops for Boards Pipelines Repository Test Plans Artifacts and Agents and integration with third party tools
• Deep understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker Kubernetes)
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Perl Ruby Python Go Groovy Helm etc.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and collaborative mindset
• Good communication skills
