Lead power system studies using ETAP, including Load Flow, Short Circuit, Relay Coordination & Protection Studies, Arc Flash, Harmonic Analysis, grid islanding and load shedding.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams for technical discussions and project delivery.
Prepare and review technical reports and client presentations while ensuring IEEE/IEC/ANSI standards compliance.

Job Title: Senior Power System Engineer – Power System Studies

Role Summary: We are seeking aSenior Power System Engineerwith strong expertise inpower system studies and protection engineering, capable of independently handling projects, guiding power system engineers, and interacting directly with clients. TheSenior Power System Engineer & Team Leadis responsible forend-to-end execution planning and deliveryof power system study projects. The role demandstechnical leadership, structured execution, strong client interaction, and accountability for quality, timelines, and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute and lead power system studies usingETAP, including:
- Load Flow
- Short Circuit
- Relay Coordination & Protection Studies
- Arc Flash Analysis
- Harmonic Analysis
- Grid islanding and load shedding
- Motor static and dynamic
Unit protection schemes.
Protection philosophies, relay logic, and setting parameters
Coordination between unit protection and backup protection
Experience in analysing protection performance under various fault scenarios and operating conditions
Develop and validate power system models.
Interface with clients, consultants, and internal teams for technical discussions.
Guide and review work team to maintain quality deliverables.
Prepare and review technical reports and client presentations.
Ensure compliance withIEEE / IEC / ANSI standards and grid codes.
Ownership of project execution, from project kick-off through final delivery and client acceptance.
Coordinate closely withcross-functional internal teams to ensure seamless execution.
Demonstrateclear and strong technical understandingof project scope, study methodology, assumptions, and deliverables.
Ensuretimely completion of projectswith minimal rework and effective internal reviews.
Lead client review meetings and secureformal clearance and acceptanceof deliverables.
Activelyrepresent the organization and the Power System teamat relevantpower system conferences, technical seminars, workshops, and industry forums.
Represent the team intechnical discussions with industry bodies, consultants, utilities, OEMs, and professional networks, strengthening the organization’s technical credibility.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Special subject in Power Systems preferred).
8–10 years of relevant experience in power system studies and protection.
Mandatory hands-on experience with ETAP; working knowledge and exposure of other power system analysis software is an added advantage.
