Ignisov Consulting Services in Hyderabad is seeking a Senior Power Platform Techno-Functional Lead to own platform governance, security, and enterprise automation. You will manage environments, drive ALM, and build scalable Power Automate solutions across Finance, BI, and Copilot Studio teams.

Responsibilities

Role: Senior Power Platform Techno-Functional Lead

We are looking for an experienced Senior Power Platform Techno-Functional Lead to own platform administration, governance, security, cost optimization, and enterprise automation delivery. The ideal candidate will independently manage the Power Platform ecosystem, build scalable Power Automate solutions, and collaborate with Finance, Power BI, and Copilot Studio teams to deliver secure, efficient, business-driven automation.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Administration & Governance

• Design and manage Power Platform environments across Dev, Test, Production, Default, and Sandbox.
• Administer Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, and Power BI.
• Implement security controls, access management, Entra ID security groups, Dataverse security roles, and conditional access with IT security.
• Design and enforce Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies, connector classifications, and governance standards.
• Implement and manage the Power Platform Centre of Excellence (CoE) Starter Kit or an equivalent governance framework.
• Monitor licensing, Dataverse capacity, Power BI/Fabric capacity, API requests, and Copilot Studio consumption.
• Establish application lifecycle management (ALM), deployment standards, audit controls, and operational runbooks.
• Design, develop, and deploy complex Power Automate cloud flows and desktop flows (RPA).
• Build reusable, scalable automations with robust error handling, logging, retry mechanisms, and monitoring.
• Integrate with Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, Microsoft 365, REST APIs, and custom connectors.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and improve automation reliability.

Finance Process Automation

• Partner with Finance teams to automate invoice processing, approvals, reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, vendor workflows, and month-end close processes.
• Conduct requirement workshops, map business processes, and identify automation opportunities with measurable business value.
• Prepare functional specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and UAT documentation.
• Ensure automated processes meet business, security, compliance, and audit requirements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership

• Collaborate with Copilot Studio teams to build secure, reliable automation actions for AI agents.
• Work with Power BI teams on data quality, refresh automation, reporting, workspace access, and capacity management.
• Own daily platform operations and automation priorities with minimal supervision.
• Contribute to platform architecture, governance strategy, technical documentation, and operational best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7+ years of overall IT experience, including 4-5+ years of hands-on Microsoft Power Platform experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in Power Platform administration, tenant-level governance, or platform management.
• Strong expertise in Power Platform Admin Center, environment management, Managed Environments, tenant settings, analytics, and capacity management.
• Hands-on experience implementing DLP policies, connector governance, CoE Starter Kit, and Power Platform administration tools.
• Strong knowledge of Dataverse security, Entra ID, conditional access, security roles, and tenant isolation.
• Experience with custom connectors, REST APIs, JSON, OAuth, and Entra ID app registrations.
• Working knowledge of Power Platform licensing, billing policies, pay-as-you-go, and cost optimisation.
• Experience with ALM, managed solutions, deployment pipelines, Azure DevOps, or GitHub.
• Functional understanding of Finance processes such as AP/AR, procurement, approvals, reconciliations, and financial close.
• Administration experience with Copilot Studio and Power BI is essential.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to Microsoft Purview, audit logs, Defender for Cloud Apps, and compliance monitoring.
• Experience with Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Key Vault.
• Familiarity with AI Builder and AI-powered document processing. Experience integrating Power Platform with ERP systems such as Dynamics 365 Finance, SAP, or Oracle.
• Experience establishing a Power Platform Centre of Excellence or enterprise governance program from scratch.
