Kiddel Technologies is seeking a hands-on Senior BI & Analytics Engineer to own enterprise analytics, focusing on Power BI, Fabric, and semantic modeling. You’ll partner with stakeholders across Finance, Sales, and Supply Chain to translate requirements into reliable dashboards and data products.

Position Summary

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Business Intelligence & Analytics Engineer to develop enterprise analytics solutions and own our Microsoft Fabric and Power BI environment.

This role goes beyond dashboard development. The successful candidate will work directly with business stakeholders to understand business processes, elicit and challenge requirements, translate those needs into data and analytical solutions, and deliver reliable Power BI dashboards and semantic models.

The role will work extensively with data from JD Edwards (JDE), Microsoft Dynamics 365, and other enterprise applications, supporting Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and other business functions.

This is a build-and-operate role, combining new solution development with day-to-day production support, monitoring, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Analysis & Analytics

• Partner directly with business stakeholders to understand processes, KPIs, reporting needs, and analytical requirements.
• Translate business questions into clear data, reporting, and dashboard requirements, challenging or refining requirements where necessary.
• Analyze and reconcile ERP, CRM, and other enterprise data to ensure reporting accuracy and business relevance.

Power BI & Data Modeling

• Design, develop, and support business-focused Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models.
• Build scalable data models using dimensional modeling and star-schema principles.
• Develop and troubleshoot DAX measures, Power Query transformations, and SQL queries.
• Optimize reports and data models for performance, accuracy, scalability, and usability.

Microsoft Fabric & Data Engineering

• Manage and enhance the Microsoft Fabric environment, including Lakehouse/Warehouse, Dataflows, Pipelines, workspaces, security, and semantic models.
• Maintain and evolve Bronze/Silver/Gold data layers and reliable integration with enterprise source systems.
• Implement appropriate data-quality, monitoring, deployment, documentation, and governance practices.

Production Support & Continuous Improvement

• Provide day-to-day production support and proactively monitor pipelines, refreshes, data quality, platform performance, and report availability.
• Troubleshoot issues across source data, Fabric pipelines, SQL, semantic models, DAX, and Power BI.
• Perform root-cause analysis on recurring issues and implement permanent fixes, automation, or monitoring improvements to prevent recurrence.
• Own solutions through requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, support, and ongoing improvement.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience delivering Power BI, BI, analytics, or related data solutions.
• Strong hands-on Power BI and DAX skills, including measures, filter context, time intelligence, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse/Warehouse, Dataflows, Pipelines, and semantic models.
• Strong understanding of semantic modeling, dimensional modeling, relationships, and star-schema design.
• Strong SQL skills for querying, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience developing analytics using data from ERP, CRM, or other enterprise transactional systems.
• Proven ability to independently engage business stakeholders, elicit requirements, and translate business needs into analytical solutions.
• Experience supporting production BI/data environments, including monitoring, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and performance optimization.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership in a lean, global IT environment.
