Job summary

Anson McCade Pty is helping a global quantitative hedge fund in Mumbai find a Senior Portfolio Manager to join their growing platform.

The candidate will have 12+ years of buyside investment experience, a proven, verifiable track record and experience managing $250m+ in capital. You will build and lead an investment team, develop a systematic strategy and collaborate with senior management to scale the franchise.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of investment experience.

• Proven and independently verifiable track record.
• Experience managing $250m+ book size.
• Deep expertise in systematic investment strategies and quantitative portfolio management.
• Strong understanding of portfolio construction, risk management and execution.

My client is a global quantitative hedge fund expanding their business in Mumbai. They are currently seeking a Senior Portfolio Manager to join their growing platform.

They are looking for an established buyside Portfolio Manager with 12+ years of experience, a verifiable track record and experience managing $250m+ of capital.

The opportunity offers significant autonomy, with the successful hire able to:

• Build and lead your own investment team from the Mumbai office
• Develop and manage your own systematic investment strategy
• Leverage a market-leading quantitative research, technology, data and execution platform
• Work closely with senior management and the firm's investment partners
• Opportunity to scale the strategy and team over time

My client is asset-class agnostic, although there is particular interest in PMs with backgrounds in systematic cash equities or futures strategies. Exceptional candidates from other systematic strategies will also be considered.

They are also open to waiting out lengthy non-competes for the right individual. They will consider global hires looking to relocate to Mumbai, as well as those based locally.
