Job summary

First American (India) is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer II to design, build, and maintain robust cloud platforms and developer tooling. You will lead platform initiatives, advancing automation, observability, and secure software delivery across teams.

You should bring 7+ years in platform engineering, strong AWS/Azure expertise, IaC with Terraform/Terragrunt, Packer image builds, and solid CI/CD implementation experience with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on Platform Engineering and DevOps experience.
• Strong cloud experience with AWS and Azure.
• Hands-on with Terraform/Terragrunt and Packer for image building.
• Proficient in building CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
• Windows and Linux administration and security scanning integrations (SonarQube, Veracode, StackHawk).
• 2+ years of Python and scripting in application development with code reviews.
