Job summary

First American (India) is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our Bengaluru team. The role focuses on data analysis in a large data warehouse, gathering requirements from business and US teams, and designing ingestion, data standards, and quality rules.

The candidate will perform data analysis using statistical methods, work in an Agile environment, and collaborate with onshore counterparts to ensure data quality and reliable data assets. Strong SQL skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and create ingestion requirements for data assets from various internal and external sources.

• Help business in identification of Critical Data Elements and the data quality rules associated with them.
• Perform data analysis and interpret results using standard statistical methodologies.
• Understand domains and business processes.
• Gap analysis, and writing and reviewing functional solution design and testing documents.
• Perform data quality checks, root cause analysis and remediation.
• Communicate effectively with onshore counterparts, both written and verbal.
